Where to find willd turtles in (Brisbane, Queensland)?

to catch them, to make as pets, cause don't want to buy one.

It's illegal to do such a thing.  And the big turtles are in more tropical waters anyhow, The Whitsundays up to Cape York.  (think Great Barrier Reef)

That's illegal, and I wouldn't go taking them from the wild, what if they are a different breed than you expected and it grows 1 metre long. and you need a reptile licence anyway, there to much fuss to take care of trust me.

Doesn't work that way..Illegal..I know where but I aint telling you...pets? Reminds me of a favourite song from the past...I hooked one once..it was like dragging a land-mine to the surface..shoulda heard what it had to say...a roar like a lion...Nah..you can't do that.
