Question:

Where to find women's office (business casual) clothes in East valley?

I'm going to be starting an office job soon. I'm looking for nice pants and blouses/shirts, and maybe some skirts. Nothing suit-ish, or that even looks like part of a suit. It's a tech job (programmer) and I'm in my mid-30s, so I'm too old to dress "cute", but too young to look stuffy, too.

I'm on a budget and willing to shop consignment/thrift, but don't want to sift through a zillion ratty t-shirts to find that one rare blouse. Any suggestions?

  1. try az mills in tempe, it's an outlet mall

they have a burlington coat factory and ann taylor loft.

i have found some really good stuff in the sale section at ann taylor loft. it is full of business casual clothes so you don't have to spend hours going through racks.

  2. Hey, I don't know if you have a Burlington's Coat Factory in your area, but if you do they have alot of business suits and nice blouses for all tastes. I recently started and office job and racked up over there. I think I spent $118 for 12 pieces of clothing.

    Good Luck

  3. great time to find bargains on the clearance racks and clearance sales.   There are some consignment shops that specialise in biz and biz cas clothing check dexonline  I think one is my sisters closet that I keep hearing on talk radio ads.

  4. If you're into consignment stores, try My Sister's Closet:

    http://www.mysisterscloset.com/

They have locations in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Chandler

Otherwise, I usually find good deals on business casual clothes at TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Marshall's, Ross, New York & Company, JCPenney's.

    Good Luck!
