Where to get US / Canada / Australia National statistics? ?

I am looking for some statistics for a research project.

The type of thing I am looking for would be:

a) Australia / US / Canada National Educational Statistics - what their equivalent to the UK system is at undergraduate / postgraduate and masters / phd levels are and -

b) What the highest subscribed-to courses are e.g. do more people study psychology in the US..

c) any other national educational statistics would be great.

I've searched google and I've been presented with masses of stats, but only really looking for specific, degree level ones... can anybody help?

The best source for US education statistics is the National Center for Education Statistics:
