Where to get a Cheap/free lanyard?

i would like to get a cheap/free lanyard with something random on it....like a random company or university or whatever. i already have a few with sports teams on them, so i want something out of the ordinary.

any ideas?

Try the Dollar Tree.

Better yet, go to: www.freecycle.org and select your city. Look for someone giving away lanyards, If no one is giving them away, sign up and post a wanted ad.

Or, look on: www.craigslist.org, select your city, and click on free. If you don't find one, post a wanted ad.

Ask your older relatives. We all go to conventions and other events as part of our jobs or community volunteer work, and there are often free lanyards. Maybe someone in your family has a drawer-ful to give away.
