I really want to grow a bonsai tree, does any one know where to get one? And also is it best to buy a small one and grow it or is it best to buy seeds (if you can). Websites, shops or garden centers that any one knows do them? I live in hertfordshire, close to stevenage and cambridge.

  1. Only standard plants grow from seeds. You have to crate the bonsai yourself. If there are no local garden centres that carry them then look up a local bonsai club. The members are usually great helping a new enthusiast along and directing them to product. Some of them may even have some available.

  2. I would buy a beginner bonsai online. Never buy one in garden centers unless they have many, many bonsais. Usually these bonsais are dying very fast because their roots have been cut off or worse.

Personally, I use this bonsai shop from time to time: http://tinyurl.com/bonsaiboy

You may want to take a look at this beginner offer, too: http://www.bonsais.asia/forums/what-need...

  3. I got mine from The Range, at a good price

  4. please try to get this book.It tells everything about Bonsai trees
