  1. Walgreens have them.  About $30 for the camera, $15 for the film.

  2. I am not going to argue about Polaroid being discontinued and all that--but you can easily use Photoshop to "polaroid" a photo. Like this:

    After: http://www.flickr.com/photos/little_pook...

  3. I've had a good amount of luck looking for Polaroid cameras at thrift stores.  I've personally found a LandCamera 210, 215, 230, 440, Minute Maker, and The Reporter.  Each of those cameras have cost me between $2 and $10.  All of these are slightly different from what most people think of Polaroid cameras.

The film does not shoot out of the front of the camera in these, instead they are pulled out and peeled apart after development time.  There's a good amount that you can do with the type of film these use (Type 669).

Thrift stores also have the Type 600 cameras (what most people think when they think of Polaroid Cameras), but I'd be stand-offish when it comes to buying one of these types of cameras.  Fuji has already made a replacement film for the Type 669 film, but they have not stated if they plan on making a replacement for Type 600 film or Spectra film.

Here are the replacement films for the type of cameras I have:

This is FP-100C - a very nice color film.  I've used the stuff fairly consistantly, and it works just like 669, only I think it's far better in many ways (color saturation, colorfastness) and can be used for emulsion lifts.

This is FP-100B - a Black and white film.  It's pretty good as well.  It as well can be used for emulsion lifts - it seems to be slightly touchy when it comes to contrast, but once I got used to it, the stuff's really nice, too.

This is FP-3000B - a 3000 ISO black and white film.  I really enjoy this stuff.  It develops in 15-20 seconds, not quite as touchy about the contrast...

Now notice, at most these films are around $1.10 a frame, and for the black and white, they're more like $0.80/$0.70 a frame.

  4. i had a poloroid camera! but it broke =[

my mom got it from walmart for like $100!

  5. try ebay or amazon

  6. The film is being discontinued, so what good would the camera be then?    The pictures aren't very good anyway, and fade in time.  Plus the pictures are $2.00 a piece.  Save your money!

  7. wal mart or anywhere but the film for those camera is no longer sold

  8. get it at target

  9. My best guess is to find one online... like eBay. They are expensive, and if you end up buying one, I suggest you stock up on film because just this year, Polaroid has decided to discontinue the makings of Polaroid film. :(

    Hope that helped!

  10. ebay.
