Question:

Where to get an agent?

My mom wants to get me an acting agent some time before school starts, but we don't know where to look and how to know if they're good or not. I live in Florida (the Tampa Bay area) so if you can, please give me links to places in Florida. Also, my hair is dark brown but I'm dying it back to my natural color, a whole lot lighter brown. I'm not dying it until mid-August, so should I wait until after I dye it to get an agent? Or does it not matter? If you can't tell, I'm new to this.

Any tips you have will definitely help!

  1. you should start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!

you need to either dye it now or not because you need to get headshots done and it has to be updated so if you wanna pay twice to get them done then thats your choice but if they call you they want you to look how you did in the pic

  2. You could find some here:http://www.starsearchcasting.com/talent_...

Im not guaranteeing they are all scam free-but you can look.

  3. Google 'Acting agents in Florida'

And it doesn't matter when you dye your hair.

  4. 1. Agents in Tampa Bay:

    http://directory.tbo.com/FL-Tampa/Talent...

Talk to them on the phone, go and see them.  But you are not the one being looked at, you are looking at them and choosing the one that is most professional and can do the most for you!

    2. Don't worry about your hair color.  Just let the agent know that you are going to do it before you do.  (You can change it whenever you want, but keep your agent informed on any major appearance changes).

    3.  Remember that this is your career choice, so you need to maintain control.  Keep your mom heavily involved and listen to her advice.
