  1. try teletext x

  2. try first choice, thompson for hotels/apartments but try cheap airlines for flights

  3. travel republic are cheaper tailor made holiday they seem to be slightly cheaper than freedom direct, check skyscanner.net for a month view of the flight prices so you can get a rough idea of the cheaper dates to go, also try portland direct or thomson , thomson have £100 off winter hol over £500  enter promotional code  00000903 after you have priced up before filling in address details and i think for summer 08 code is 00000907 good luck

  4. Try golanzarote.com

    Should bring something up.

  5. i have started using ,freedom direct, you book with them and i don't know how they manage it but you end up with one of the big operators at a real big saving ,nealy £1500 we have saved for our Christmas break going to the same place as last year .amazing and lots more spending money .hope this helps and do have a good time when you go....

  7. depends where you want to be, i used to live there, just left 4 months ago to move back to tenerife (lanzarote is just tooooo quiet!).  i worked in a complex called Club Pocillos, its on the main strip that runs through Puerto del Carmen in an area called Playa Pocillos (pronounced poseeyos) and its just a walk across the road to the 8km beach.... the apartments are clean and basic... one bed or two bed, sea views, all have kitchens with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, hob and dishwasher they also have wide screen tvs and dvd players, bathrooms with shower and bath (tiny swimming pool, more like a plunge pool).  the one bed could sleep three and the two bed five, the prices aren't that bad, if i remember rightly about £35 a night for the one bed apartment, thats per room not per person.... you can e-mail them on info@casacarelanza.com or phone the reception direct on + 34 928 510353

  8. Try the travel agents to get some rough ideas as to the deals available and then try to beat there quotes on teletext.remember you can always say no to any deals until you are happy ...Shop around.
