Where to get free education for daytraders

im starting out to be a daytrader, and i want to know where i can get free education on like which candlestick timeline is best to use like a minute chart or 3 minute chart. also where i can learn everything about level 2 quotes

This is a general knowledge website where you will find almost everything about investing and online trading. As to which time frame to use depends on your trading methods. You can also try online forums like http://elitetrader.com or http://trade2win.com. There you will find threads on different trading methods, trading journals, and almost any subject you can think of when it comes to active trading.

there are several books that have been published about  day trading

why not start there

you should also start to take a look at the various direct access stock brokers

and contacting them to see what recommendations they would make to you

but start off by reading one of the day trading books

as I understand it

when you are making your decisions as a day trader

it is all based upon the info that you are looking at on the level 2 quotation system

nothing else

no candlestick

its about reacting to what you see on the screen in front of you

that is what most seasoned day traders do
