Where to get my bindings mounted?

Is it generally better to get ski bindings mounted at a ski shop or at a mountain? I'm in kind of a rush because I want to use my new skis over feb vaca. I was leaning towards the mountain when I get there because I've heard its quicker. Do they do as good of a job or better?

its probably about the same but depending on what mountain you are going to they usually have ski shops that are like right around the corner.

plus at a mountain it will probably be much more crowded and more expensive

try somewhere like a joe joness ski shop

It is usually true that the mountain is quicker, but I would take them to a ski shop.  From my experience, dedicated ski shops tend to do a more thorough and careful job.  Additionally, when you do it at the mountain, prices are usually lot higher (due to convenience).

All-in-all, it depends on what mountain you are going to.  Good luck!
