Where to get skating dresses?

Question

i dont really care about price.. you can't get a good figure skating dress thats cheap. when youre a skater for 6 years you learn that just doesnt happen. anybody have any good sites? im looking for competition dresses. i like the good quality like del arbour, sharene, and seku. the nice stuff. i DONT want stuff like gk elite or jerry's. custom sites would be nice. thanks!

It sounds like you know what you like...if those websites aren't working for finding your dress, perhaps have it custom made.  Ask around your rink, coaches, or competitions, there is usually someone in the area (or not too far drive) that does dresses and you can talk with them and design your own.  If you are in california i can recommend a few, otherwise just ask around, or lots of times they go to local skating comps and shows to be seen and get their stuff out there.  good luck!

For customs, check out Wendesign's dresses at www.skatingdress.com. Lots of beautiful custom designs. Tania Bass also had some gorgeous ones, as well as www.russianiceskate.com (Designs by Elena).

I also like Del Arbour and Sharene. My team's synchro dresses are custom-made and designed by Del Arbour and are absolutely stunning. We get so many compliments!

eBay has amazing custom dresses, that are brand new. You must have an account but that is free. Here is a link to sign up for an eBay account:

Here is a link to one of my favorite places to get dresses, it is located in China and shipping is 20 to 25 dollars but it's worth it because the dresses are only like $20 each!!
