Where to get student loans? Going to Medical School and I have to pay bills?

hey,

I am going to medical school this fall.

I filled out my FAFSA.

I am waiting for my aid package still.

BUT, my income and my wife's income totalled around $80k this year.

We really don't have much in savings. a couple thousand.

We have debt on credit cards.

WE have car payments.

We have regular monthly bills.

I am obviously not going to be able to work going to med school full time.

My wife will.

But she can't take care of all of that for us.

So if I dont get a good package from my school, where can I get additional aid to cover the cost of living expenses.

I need money to live and to pay stuff off.

My wife and I both have GREAT credit. Mine is over 780 and her's is over 770. Obviously we are cuting out expenses now in preparation, but there is still a lot to cover, plus we have to try to sell out house.

Company recommendations? REPUTABLE PLEASE!!!

Thanks people.

  1. When applying for student loans, the borrower should realize the following basic attributes of the prospect loan such as the procedures, legal dynamics and basic attributes of the finance company or the loan itself. Interest rates, payment options, incentives and origination fees should be understood by the borrower very well.

However, financing companies deem students as high - risk costumers since the students does not have definite source of income to repay the debt. Some companies will require the student to furnish documents that will serve as proof or evidences that the student applying for the loan is capable to repay the debt. This is what we call credit history.
