  1. The orginial best is UNO's. A former worker left Uno's and started gino's east...which is my favorate... there's just something great about the sausage patty. Either way both resturants you can't miss

  2. Gino's East

  3. Wow where to start.  The are sooo many great pizza places.  What kind of pizza you looking for??

    Thin or  Pan??

If you are looking for thin there are a couple of great places but my choice is Pizano's on State by far the best out there.

For Pan or there are two places.  One is lou malnati's, been going here for the last 20 years.  By far one of the best.  Also pequod's pizza is great too. Both are great!!!

  4. I'm not a Chicago native but when I was out there visiting, my BFF who was born and raised in Chicago took me to Giordano's. I liked it....it's very different than the California style pizza's I grew up on  but it is still hella good :)

    HAVE FUN!!!

  5. downtown: lou malnati's. avoid pizzeria uno, it's commercialized. skip giordano's too.

    south side: palermo's

north shore suburbs: carmen's in evanston.

    chicagoland area: rosati's to-go.

  6. Use the 2 links below for customer reviews.....sometimes websites with menu's and prices too.

    www.yelp.com

    www.kudzu.com

I use the above when travelling or when I want to try a new place out.

  7. forget lous, ginos east, or all the other genaric brads people will tell you. for some of the BEST pan pizza in the WORLD got to Pequods Pizza on 2207 N. Clybourn Ave. They are the real true meaning of Chicago deep-dish pizza. Remember SKIP- Lous, Ginos, Giordanos, Home Run Inn, Pompei, and Pizza Uno. These places are kindoff like pizza places where you live that you know they serve pizza but you never go there cause you just know they probaly cant make a good pie. GO TO PEQUODS, you wont regret it.

  8. Home Run Inn and Italian Fiesta

  9. Gino's East is very good.

  10. bucca di beppo, gino's, home run inn, fox's, rosangelo's, aurelio's...... ah theres so many i could name there all so delicious! Pizza is my fave food! the list could go on and on. im from chicago-beverly, so i know a ton of pizza places.

  11. I'm always on the hunt for good pizza in Chicago.  I still haven't found what I would call the 'best pizza ever' here.  But some good ones I would suggest:

Godfather's on Wilson/Magnolia -- Uptown neighborhood  (for deep dish -- haven't had their thin crust)

Dagostino's is great (thin crust is best) Addison/Southport - Wrigleyville neighborhood

My friends rave about The Art of Pizza on Ashland -- also Wrigleyville - haven't had it yet

  12. Lou Malnati's - several locations

  13. I would recommend Gino's East. I visited Chicago a few months ago and ate at Gino's. It was by far the best pizza that I have ever had. They also ship their pizzas all over the place, so you can order one over the internet.

  14. Find a NYC style thin crust pizzaria for the best.

  15. Giordano's i eat their all the time when I'm hungry for pizza

  16. John's in the 2500 block of North Western Avenue, or if you're south, Giuseppe's at 126th and Western in Blue Island.

  17. giordanos if you like more sauce

Lou malnatis if you like less sauce

    ginos east

try the stuffed chicago style pizza

  18. geno's east.

Get the pie with a sausage pattie.

    The only way to go!!

  19. My personal favorites are Uno's and Falcos and Fox's and Home Run Inn
