  1. Snowbird is running some deals, I plan on hitting it up if possible.

  2. Park City, all the venues from the Olympics are open to the public. You can even go ski jumping into a swimming pool which is the same pool used by the US Olympic team.

It isn't only skiing but also skeleton and bobsleding where you can get public rides through admissions.

  3. Park cities The Canyons

gorgeous, great skiing, and som of the best snow in the world

    have fun

  4. Honestly, dont go to either Park City or The Canyons.  They're amazing resorts and have very good snow, but they're far from the best.

If you want to go somewhere amazing with virtually no lines, go to Snow Basin in Huntsville, Utah.  There are a few reasons why I would pick this resort.

    1. Access - To get to the Canyons, PC, or Deer Valley, you must go up Parleys Canyon, which doesnt have the best reputation with the locals.  I have seen quite a lot of accidents in parleys (two requiring life flight helicopters), and the only time I've ever seen a single police officer in the canyon is if they're at an accident scene.  People fly up that canyon way faster than they should, and it can be kinda dangerous in bad weather.   Both of the Cottonwood canyons you take to get to Alta and Brighton are very narrow, windy two-lane canyons. To get to Snow  Basin, basically all you have to do is get onto the freeway.  There are no narrow, windy roads, and its a much faster drive from Salt Lake than any of the other resorts, even though its a bit farther away.

    2. Snow - For some reason, the snow at snow basin doesnt seem to melt like it does at the other resorts.  The snow seems to stay lighter and dryer longer than at other resorts, whether it has somethign to do with the altitude, direction the slopes are facing, or for whatever reason.

3 Facilities - The owner recently pumped a ton of money into the resorts lifts, lodges, and dining facilities.  Ive never had a better hamburger than the ones I have up at Snow Basin.  The lodges are very clean and cozy, and it is never hard to find a place to sit for lunch.

Hope this helps. =) Also, check http://snowbasin.com/winter/quick_facts.... for more info.

  5. Deer Valley, Powder Mountain

On these ski mountains, snow is its speciality. It snow there about 6/7 times a week (POWDER). Deer Valley is SNOWBOARD FREE! It is one of the only mountains that doesn't allow snowboarders. This makes a difference of the trails: No more pushing snow, sitting, and all the other c**p they do! i would recomend Deer Valley first (im actually going in about 2 1/2 weeks). Powder Mountain is the largest ski mountain in the USA. it get over 500 inches of real snow. And it also has some nice terrain parks (i have been here also).

Hope this helps, Skiing Cr4zy ^_^
