What do you usually do if you don't feel like studying?

Few weeks before i've been studying really hard for my preliminary exams. Even to the extent of late night studying! The first few papers i set for felt easy to me and hence i'm starting to feel abit relaxed. My exams continues next week after a one week break. However, i still have a little bit more to cover for the rest of my subjects. I just don't feel the urgency now.....

1. am i being too complacent

2. have i lost my mental stamina since i used alot of effort studying few weeks before the examinatoin?

3. am i just plain lazy

if so, what would you suggest i do to keep studying? It be best if you share your personal experiances with me! I do not wish to slow down at the last lap!

  1. Just get it done. You'll regret it if you didn't study for your exams earlier. Rise at the top. I've always done this procrastination stuff, but it doesn't work out. You'll cram and fret and worry. So it's best if you get it done ahead of time. Break it off into small tasks, so you won't feel overwhelmed.

  2. I just took my Law School Admissions Test in June and I had to motivate myself to study for it...it's tricky. It's not that you are lazy, it's just that you don't have that urgency to keep you going.

When I have studying to do, I usually try to get out of the house. Either a nearby cafe, coffee shop or the library...the key is to basically be stuck somewhere with nothing to do but your studying.

Find a friend to study with if you can. Just keep reminding yourself of your goals and keep plugging along.

    Good luck! :]

  3. hmm well it sounds like youre a pretty well-motivated person... youre leaps and bounds ahead of myself in that department, but yeah the only thing thats worked for me is just to force myself to do everything i have to do until im finished... otherwise it doesn't get done heheh
