Where to go as a family for or daughter's 6th birthday

Question

We want to take our daughter out somewhere for her 6th birthday. We live in Northamptonshire and are willing to travel for about 1-2 hours. Alton Towers is too out of the question as she is too small for the rides so would be a waste of money. She went to the sea life centre with her nan last week and also the zoo.

We thought about taking her to London but the weather is not looking good. Any ideas on where we can take her and what we can do?? or eve anywhere that is all indoors so it will not matter if it rains.

how about cadbury world in brum.

Cool place if it's wet to go and indulge you and your daughters chocolate fantasy.

Also my kids( one boy and one girl) loved going to duxford air museum, nr cambridge. It's got loads to look at, and a concorde to go on.

Is there like a haven near you?

Short breaks and weekends there are fun for everyone. Theres loads of kids, activities and a swimming pool.

Isn't there a Gulliver's Kingdom theme park in Milton Keynes, I think thats for smaller kids
