Here are some suggestions, you may want to catch and release, I'm not sure about water quality.

Rouge River flows through Dearborn Hgts all along Hines Drive, if you take that west, you will come to a small lake near Wayne Rd (I believe).  There will be additional lakes as you drive towards Ann Arbor.

Additional places.  

Detroit River, I prefer behind the Free Press building. Current is strong, you will need at least 1 ounce sinkers

Bishop Park in Wyandotte/Trenton there is a fishing pier located on the river. Bottom is rocky with a channel cut through the rock along this part of the river.
