Where to go for Vacations?

Here is the case:

my husband is in basic training/army. after he finish his training he will have about 2 weeks, and i plan to use that time for a little vacations. We live in Florida, so already went to disney, universal, sea world...etc. I want something cheap for 7 days, but also something we wont forget. I was thinking about go skiing, but his 2 weeks vacations are on july...so there wont be any snow. What you recomend?

Since you are in Florida, NASA, oranges and miles of white sand beaches come to mind.  Since he's in the army you should try and get a military hop to Hawaii and see the volcano flowing into the ocean.  If that is too far then maybe a trip to the State Capitol and visit your Congressional representatives.

I would head to Yellowstone / Grand Teton Parks and then up to Glacier National Park.  All are very scenic and peaceful - - - a great place to relax.  I have been to many National Parks and Glacier is the most beautiful, but Yellowstone and Grand Teton are a close second.  There are lots of activities to do there.  Hiking, Kayaking, White water rafting, fishing, swimming, boating, etc.  I am sure you would enjoy it and it IS VERY MUCH different from Florida!

If  you can fly and if money is not a realy problem, you should go to Niagara Falls, Canada.
