Where to go for a 1-2 week vacation in July?

Prefer clean beaches, nature, nightlife, reasonable packages

Prefer Mexico, Cuba, Carribeans, Brazil, etc. what about St.Maarten?? Travelling with 2 girls in July.

I would agree with Sumatrael.  Cancun is the place to go.  July is going to be more pricey but you get the most for you're money in Mexico.  Definately go see Xel Ha and Tulum...its a must.   You can snorkel with some of the most beautiful fish in the world here.  Cozumel is located near Cancun and has the second largest Coral reef...plus they have great night life and shopping.  Cancun is centered among all these nice things.  It is located by Riviera Maya.  I am going with Sumatrael (my twin sister) in May!  We are staying in a Riu Resort named Hotel Riu Cancun  ****ALL INCLUSIVE.  We are spending $1100 for 5 days/4 nights hotel and flight plus insurance that covers cancellation, or injury while vacationing.   I've heard Jamaica is nice but it is definately more costly.

CANCUN!  You may be surprised how far your buck will go there.  Tour guides in this area offer plenty of excursions ranging usually under $100.  If you like treking through jungle by ATV, speed boating in the beautiful ocean, parasailing, fine dining, shipping in a Mayan village, deep sea fishing, and mush more....check into a tour agency for Cancun.

cancun, mexico is just simply amazing.  i just came back and had a wonderful time.  i went with some girlfriends of mine an i loved it.  the night scene is great, too.  there are so many clubs and activities to do along with the beautiful and clean beaches to relax.  pretty nice mals, too.  we stayed for 2 weeks.  another reccomendation would be miami, florida.  i actually live close to miami and if you are looking for the ultimate club and party scene, then you should go there.  but cancun beats it buy a million.  best of luck choosing and enjoy yourself!!

Honestly, I just took a cruise to the eastern carribean and it was so much fun. I would reccomend it because you get the night life on board and the beaches and nature when your off the ship. Plus its all inclusive! I am definitely cruising again. Especially if you are going with friends laying out on the deck cruising in the middle of the ocean is alot of fun. They have dancing, karaoke, drinking, shows, pictures, swimming, spa packages, and everything you could want from a vacation! DO IT! You won't regret it!

Tulum, on the Caribbean coast. One of the prettiest beaches in the world, with picturesque Mayan ruins overlooking the beach.

130 km south of a massive resort of Cancún, it is a tiny but perfectly-formed white sandy cove, with a few palm shade and the azure Caribbean sea to swim in.

The entrance to Tulum is totally touristy, with a huge car park, souvenir shops, café and restaurants. There is no place to stay on the spot, but there are a few hotels and restaurants in Tulum village and also [far better option] plenty of resort type places, cabañas [beach huts] and campsites along the coast road south to Punta Allen.
