I live in Gloucester and want to go away for the bank holiday weekend with my boyfriend. We don't want to drive more than 2 hours really and would like a Bed and breakfast for the Saturday night. Maybe the beach but not an busy amusement arcade one! maybe just a quite b&b in the counrty somewhere where we can go for a few walks, look at wildlife sit in a quite pub with a pint (as the weather will probably be c**p!) any ideas, or am i asking to much! lol

  1. whitley bay in the north east its mad lol

  2. london carnival

  3. jump in your car and hit the m50. head to south wales. don't take a map, just dive into wales and take some country roads and sooner or later you will hit small villages with names you cant say. they usually have b&b's there and the scenery is usually very nice.

    have a great time!

  4. Cotswolds

    Bourton on the water.

  5. Broadway, Worcs - stunning village, excellent pubs and a few quirky shops

Or go north to Ludlow - again, excellent food.

Hereford and Shropshire are both not far, have many small roads and villages with very nice B&Bs
