Where to go in Birmingham AL?

Hey, I am traveling to Birmingham AL for work in the next few months and I usually plan out where I want to eat and what I want to do. However I was looking for a good old southern food restaurant but I seem to be unable to find anything everything I find is either swanky or just italian or regular like I can eat at home. Please if you know somewhere that is fatty and delicious and all southern please tell me. Thanks!
