Where to go in York?

Me and my girlfriend are spending a week just outside of York in two weeks time. It's for her 21st birthday and I want to take her out for a very nice meal while away.

We eat pretty much anything except I dont eat any kind of seafood.

Price - Well I dont mind paying a decent ammount but extortionate prices are off the menu for me as I cant afford it.
