Where to go in summer?

i'm planning to go on vacations this summer

any ideas where to go? (stay in U.S. boundaries, please)

not too hot or too boring

There are TONS of places to go - santa barbara, san francisco, san diego, orlando, tampa, miami, myrtle beach, washington dc, maine, savannah, new orleans, colorado, ft. lauderdale, charlotte, charleston, vegas....all depends on what you like-- museums/historical, the beach, etc...
