Where to go on Christmas Eve in Paris?

I'll be travelling to Paris this Christmas. I'm wondering where to go for Christmas Eve celebration in Paris? Is there any celebration near The Eiffel Tower?

  1. There is no drunken revelry if that is what you are looking for. Christmas is celebrated with a big dinner and church.

    You might try going to services at Notre Dame. Its quite impressive. Vespers on Christmas Eve is quite nice also.


  2. Big celebrations are on New Years Eve.

    For Xmas, the French have a (very) big family dinner, late at night on xmas eve
