I am looking into going to Italy next year and want to know some can't miss places on Italy's coast that I should look at visiting. Also, I am thinking about driving to France for a couple of days, any suggestions about where I should visit in France as well.

  1. If you want to do both Italy and France, then the best location is the Ligurian coast. I highly recommend Cinque Terre. You can drive toward France stopping to see Portofino, San Remo and any other towns that strike your fancy. In France, Menton is nice and you can go on to Monte Carlo. Be sure not to miss Eze - it´s a beautiful spot on the coast. The ancient town in the upper corniche with the agave garden and sculptures has spectacular views out over the sea as well as being an interesting town. It´s a short drive to Nice from there.

  2. well if your gonna be in northern italy then im not really sure but if your gonna be in the south anywhere on the amalfi coast is good. i dont know anything about france.
