Where to go on a gap year?

Hi

I am considering taking a gap year before i go to uni.

I study Japanese, and I was thinking about perhaps going out there to teach English as a foreign language. Also considering doing the same thing, but in Ghana.

Any ideas??

Go Japan you'll be safer there than in Ghana and they will like you more

Make sure you do something you think will helpo you grow as a person. This doesn't have to involve travel, but you'll feel really angry at yourself if after one year you are the same person you are today. And please, prmoise me, you won't go to help with the "development" of asome third world country. I'm not saying that because it's done to death, but because by engaging in it, you're becoming part of the problem, not the solution.

Your totally better off to go to Japan. the food rocks and culture is completely different, and I'n sure you'll love it there. Everyone I've ever talked to that has stayed and studied in Japan, said it was a life changing experience and they'd all go again.
