Where to go on a vacation where no tropical storms are?

My family was going to go to Washington DC for a vacation...leaving on Monday, but we just canceled it because of tropical storms because it will be pouring there. We live in Iowa, have about 2 weeks...and are driving NO MATTER WHAT. Please help us figure out a place to go!

Anywhere on the West Coast, exluding Baja California (Mexico).

California, Oregon, Seattle, British Columbia, or Alaska.

Or you can go inland, got to Las Vegas, or see the Grand Canyon.

Seattle,Vancouver,Alberta- Lake Louise,Banff,Jasper National Park.Yellow Stone,Las Vegas,Lake Tahoe etc... alot of places but just have to decide what everybody would agree on.
