Where to go shopping in New York City?

So im going NYC the day after Christmas and I was wondering at where are some good places to shop. Im goin to like times square type New York, somewhere around there and i dont have a lot of money either. I have also heard that thrift shops are a good idea because people give there old clothe there, is that true, and if it is, where are the thrift shops? ok and one more question, Abercrombie and Fitch Flagship store, does that mean like outlet store. I mean are there clothes cheaper there? ok thats it, Thank you

if you walk all 5th ave.. and broadway and 6 th ave.. and 7 ave,. you can find alot store ..

34 st. and broadway.. macys and manhatan mall.
