  1. I am in love with the

florida Keys. Beautiful , easy going , great fishing.

  2. Depending on the time of year, Rome,Venice,Firenze and Aosta and every castle you can possibly see.

  3. With over 7,000 islands to choose from, you can't go wrong with the Philippines!

Warm, friendly, hospitable people, beautiful, uncrowded beaches, premier class resorts at very reasonable prices (the large percentage of them are a quarter of the price you would spend for comparable accommodations and facilities in other places in the world).

The Philippines has two international airports: Manila and Cebu. Cebu (Mactan Intl Airport) is served by many worldwide carriers and is a good jumping off place for various resorts and places of historical interest and picturesque beauty.

Mostr Filipinos speak excellent English, so no language problem. Germans, Koreans, Chinese and several other  nationalities descend on the Philippines regularly, so the tourist industry boasts a knowledge of other languages, too.

I went to the Philippines for the first time almost a year ago and can hardly wait to go back. During my stay I did a little bit of everything: lay on the beach, go touring, making new friends, exploring the fascinating and delicious Filipino cuisine (a strong Spanish influence due to the colonization period in Filipino history, mixed with great flavors of Malaysian and Polynesian spices and ingredients), and totally relaxing.

Exchange rate for the Philippines peso is also very good against most world currencies.

Also a great place to excape to during the cold winter weather which grips most other countries in the world.

The Philippines will extend a warm "Mabuhay!" (welcome) to you!

  4. Go to Thailand.  It is different.  Don't do the beach thing, take an escorted tour and see the whole country.  It is warm, amazing and beautiful. People are very friendly, accomodations are more than luxurious, the food is out of this world and so different .  It is a cheap holiday compared to anywhere in Europe.

We went on a 17 day tour with Silk Holiday in January and it was the best ever, although we have traveled the world for many years now.  I'm dying to go back.
