try the Schwimmbad Club close to the Zoo (if you are 25 or under), apart from that...the Eckstein in the City is good fun...there are a couple of Irish Pubs at the Hauptstrasse which are all quite nice...

Many of the good places are in the old part of Heidelberg. There is one street, which can be referred to as "pub street." It is filled with nothing but bars! It is called Untere Strasse. This street is by the Heiligegeist Kirche along the Hauptstrasse. My favorite place is this small, cozy Italian cafe/bar, which is on Steingasse. This is the street that is directly in front of the Alte Brucke. There is a good club called Nachrichten, which is by the bus station Betriebshof. Karlstorbahnhof is a good place to go dancing. It is located at the end of the Hauptstrasse (not Bismarckplatz). Another good way to find places is by checking out the posters! They advertise when and where the party is!

there are a lot of bars in the old section  near the university under the castle where uni students hang out. Cheap quality food and drinks.
