Where to hide an audio recorder?

I need to document information. I'm afraid I'm going to forget something. It would be easier to record the events/conversation. This information is for my personal use and will be destroyed once I make notes. Please don't lecture me on legalities.

How can I conceal and hide an audio recorder on my person so that the conversation is clear?

I already have a recorder but it does not have a wire...
