Where to jack up trailer?

I've been given an old 26' power boat that needs some work and its on a tandem axle trailer. The trailer tires are flat and have been flat for awhile so I'm going to replace them to move the boat to my place. My question is where should I jack up each side? The boat has to stay on so theres going to be 4000-5000 (guess) lbs on the trailer. Should I jack at the suspension point between the two tires?

put the jack as close to the tire as possible on the axle of the tire you are working on.

Jack up at strongest points. At the axles.

I would put the jack as close to the tire on the axle as possible.BUT you need to break the lugs before jacking,not take them off just so that you will not have to let the jack back down to free them..if you would feel more comfortable,I would get 2 jacks and have someone help jack it up ,one on each side,of the trailer,simultaneously,(and make sure it goes back down in a somewhat similar way),and then but jack stands under for added safety while the tires were off.That way the boat wont be on such an odd angle.make sure the tongue of the trailer is stable and wont move on you.maybe put some cinder block under it or actually hook it up to the vehicle you are towing it with.
