I love irony. That's why I want to karaoke Saturday night. What are some good bars (or even a resource where I could find info) that offer karaoke Saturday night in the North of Chicago?

I know about Lincoln Karaoke, and, yes, it's pretty great. However, I am looking for something w/o the private rooms.

Extra points if your answer is near Andersonville/Lincoln Square.

Extra EXTRA points if your answer is the lounge of a bad Chinese restaurant that still smells of smoke depite the fact that cigarettes have been banned all year.

  1. There is the Hidden Cove over on Lincoln Ave in Lincoln Square. It's not the classiest place in the world (think plastic palm trees and Christmas lights) but it's a lot of fun and it's super easy to find parking over there.

It's one of those places people absolutely love or absolutely hate. It's a complete dive, so don't expect froo froo drinks (personally I suggest sticking to drinks served in a bottle) and you'll be fine.
