I want to learn Dutch by attending classes in Rotterdam. Where do you suggest that I should go?? Please suggest both short and long-term programs. I found through google the "Rotterdamse Volksuniversiteit" for example. Is it any good?

Thank you in advance!

  1. THE PLACE IS GOOD

IF YOU KNOW ENGLISH AND GERMAN DUTCH WILL BE NO PROBLEM TO LEARN

  2. The 'volksuniversiteit is as a rule considered a good institution, but I have no experience with the Rotterdam version.

But most important for you will be that the course is the level you want it, or need it.

If you are university level education you might look for a course meant for new students.

If you just want some basic info and a start, the 'inburgering cursus' can be your thing, the town hall should have info on that one.

And besides classes, you will need to talk Dutch as much as possible, with Dutch people if you can.

That is the only way to really learn the language.
