Where to learn Matlab?

Question

ok, all ye googlers, no bashing... i can use google..just need some easy low down help on where to go to get good matlab instructions that i can follow and make sense out of it.

This first site is a Matlab site, but in the documentation there are programming examples:

Type "help" in the command window

buy the matlab book.  i think there are actually a few different ones you can buy.  and i dont think the book is that expensive either.
