  1. I reccommend the suburb of Glenelg, it's practically got everything you need. I went to Glenelg Primary School, and it was the best school I attended. If your child is older than primary age then there's Brighton High which is close by, or Adelaide High of course.

Some other good suburbs are Norwood, Tea Tree Gully, Henley Beach, and also those close the City, like Walkerville.

Not sure about jobs, look up jobs in Adelaide (mechanical field).

  2. There are so many possibilities, but how about the Hallett Cove area, it is a nice area with many good schools, near the more industrial areas around Lonsdale where you could find plenty of work, and near the beach and major shopping centres.

  3. There are so many places you could live, it really depends on your budget. There are also many good public schools. Highgate Primary School is one I know that many people try to get their children into, but really there are so many. In general, job opportunites are better in the northern suburbs, but then you wouldn't want to live there unless your budget dictated it. Really, there is quite full employment here, you should not have any trouble getting a good job in your field, anywhere in the city.
