  1. 900 a month, in London??

have you heard of centre point?

  2. What a about Kilburn (Little Venice in Estate Agent speak).  It's very trendy with the young professional and close enough to the centre and to Camden etc. to be good for a night out plus it has lots of stuff to do round there too.

I found this one for £200 a week:

Please keep an open mind when viewing flats at £900 a month as they're not going to be glamorous.  You're going to have to think about what you can do to them to make them yours (nice prints, plants, throws etc) and keep your mind on the area you're moving to.

  3. Uxbridge/Hillingdon is your only hope for a 2 bed flat ......... you can get to Oxford St within 40 minutes though.

  4. I'm a fan of Walthamstow because it's got great links to central London, is more residential than other parts of London, had a nice community feel and is affordable.

There's also Camden, Angel, Holloway and Arsenal in North London. If you like East there's Mile End, Bow and Stratford. So many other areas, but I have lived in and around the areas I mentioned. Try a reputable letting agent as well.

  5. I rented a lovely flat in croydon (no really!) it had a gym, sauna and outdoor swimming pool.  It'll take about 45 mins (train 16mins tube 8 + connections) and I've seen two beds there for under £900.

  6. 900? for the whole place? hmm the victoria lines so much better than the rest I'd reccoment finsbury park or around there somewhere. i live in archway it's the same though- no soul. no character like camden or stokey, just a bunch of yobs and losers.

  7. Try Kilburn or Willesden Green... lots of bars and restaurants and lots of young professionals of different nationalities, and good transport links to the city with the Jubilee Line (and only twenty minutes to Bond Street)!
