Are you asking about disco dancing like by yourself in a little circle of friends or real dancing, like with a partner? Because if you're the type who likes that circle dancing, then it doesn't matter where you go in the city because most people are on drugs and acting like losers showing off and you have to dodge the urine which is all over the floor, whereas partner dancing venues are all class, with most people not even drinking because they know how to have real fun, there are places all over Melbourne, you just have to pick a style and look it up on the internet to get the venues and times.

I had the same problem when i visited melbourne...... every club you go to you feel like you & your mates are the only ones dancing in the whole place! haha makes for an amusing night though! never been out in sydney.. but i know brisbane at least dance alot more than melbourne!
