Where to post original art and fan art?

Question

Is there anyway where else where I can post my art besides DevaintArt? I used to post my Anime/Manga fan art and original work there until my Mom said I wasn't allowed to go or post there any more since she saw the darker side of DA.

I have been currently using Flickr to post my art here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ajv777

But I'm not getting nearly as many views and comments like I once did on DA.

So I was wondering if there were any free web hosting sites that I could put my pics on?I hope to get as much exposure as possible.

Also Sheezy Art seems to always be down and has lots of bugs.

there is this great website, which is http://www.theotaku.com/ , its a serious website, they even have a premium you can subscribe too with special offers. and they also have a audio podcast. I already put two of my drawings there.and i think its great...

omg, is everyone's MOM out to get DA? sorry, but I've answered similar questions such as yours and all of them had the same reason for looking for new art community sites

anyway, since DA is "too dark" for your mum, try these sites instead:

I've been with this community since 2005 and I love how active the members are, if you ask for a constructive criticism most are most obliged. Don't let the name fool you, it also accepts other original artwork (ie: traditional artwork, portraits, etc)The only negative aspect of the site is that the majority of members tend to dote of crappy anime and/or manga fanart ( i'm no anime freak, but i do like some mangas and animes too, but only the ones with good storylines and artwork like Deathnote, Priest, and Shin-Chan) TOO much. They in turn, seldom leave comments for deserving artists. If you decide to join, my username is broken_lizard2.
