Where to put eyeliner?

Question

My friend said under your eyelashes on the top(like almost in your eye) but I recently got eyeliner with a smudger and I can't smudge it when it's there. I've been putting it near my lashes on my eyelid and smudging it, but it looks stupid. Please help?!?!

Oh, and also, when I put my eyeliner on the bottom, I put it above my lashes, and so do all of my friends, but when they do it, it looks great and stays there, but with me it looks good in the beginning but after that, it like melts away and goes under my lashes. It looks like I was crying. It is reallllyyyyyy annoying. Help??

you can put it on your eyeball around your iris to get a hot look or around your taint

Liquid eyeliner is a lot harder to apply and maintain if you're new at this. Get an eyeliner pencil and practice. If you have large eyes, line the top and bottom. If you have small eyes, line the top (above eyelashes) only. After applying your eyeliner, you should move on to eyeshadow or skip it and apply mascara (which should always be last). Pencil liner will last a lot longer than liquid liner, especially if its waterproof (like mine). Good luck!

Try a liquid eye liner.  Apply it above the lashes and the top below the lashes but only half way from the outter corner to mid way.

well dont get smudy get regular and you can put it under your eyeasses and it makes your lashes look bolder. and underneath and sometimes ontop of your eyelid. but not smudy just regular eyeliner!

for me i use liquid eye liner for above my eyelashes. If you are afraid of making a weird line, do it with a pencil eyeliner first then put the liquid on top of it.

Then use the same pencil eyeliner to do the bottom part of your eye. Note: if you have small eyes, do not put additional eyeliner on the bottom, because doing both will make your eyes look even smaller. If you want your eyes to look bigger use a white eyeliner for the bottom. Make sure you put it on edges of the bottom of your eye don't put it on the lashes or below the lashes of your bottom half because then it will look as though you've been crying.

Note: the first time you do the bottom half, your eye may tear but after a while it will get used to the sensation.

Are you using liquid eyeliner?

Pencil eyeliner works best and smudge it with a tissue and smudge it a bit on the bottom and on the top you can also add colors to make it pop out more.

make sure your eyeliner is very thin because if you over do it, it will look stupid and that will make it melt and smudge. also do what i do, when putting eyeliner on, keep with you some baby whipes because there the best think to use to clean smudge eyeliner x

I had this problem too, But now I wear aloot of Eyeliner haha

Anyway, make sure your pencil stays sharp, with a REAL EYELINER sharpner, not a pencil one.

And get it just on that little lining close to your eyeball/l bottom lashes.

If you dont wanna smudge it leave it thick, or wear shadow.

But yeab

And they probably touch it up every hour or so, right?

So just bring it with you

nope put it on top of the lash right next to it... after you put on shadow and before you put on mascara. it will blend well.

you might wanna try curling your lashes before you apply the eye liner, since the hair would be away from your lids...maybe you can put a dab of translucent power under the eyes so it wouldn't smudge as much...

i have the same problem, but what helped me is when i put it on befor mascara and put it slightly above and in my lashes<3

I use black eyeshadow for my eyeliner because it last longer and looks better. Liquid and pencil always wears off to easy. I put mine on the top with a thin eyeshadow brush above my lashes (on the lid/along my eylash line) then I put some of the bottom with an eyeshadow brush on what people call the "water line" (above the lashes/on the bottom lid XD confussing XD)

Ask them what kind of eyeliner they use because some of them are really good and stay for a long time, and others just are messy and look bad after like 10 minutes.

um, put it on your tear area. theres a somewhat white line at the verry top of your undereye skin, put it there,

of you could use black eye shadow and put it very close to your eyes
