Where to put it???

ok on my 16th b-day i might get a tatoo thanks to my big sis but where would be the LEAST painful place to get one at??

The least painful spot is probably your shoulder blades. My girlfriend got her first tattoo there and she didnt even wince when they were doing it. Tattoos hurt either way but the more skin you have above the bone the better off. Dont get the tattoo any where you can feel your bone, that where it'll hurt the most. I got my first tat right down my spine and that hurt pretty bad but it was definitely worth it in the end

Anywhere there isn't a bone. But be very careful about what you get. A tattoo that may seem cool when you're 16 may not seem so cool when you're 30 with kids, or 60, or 80.

Just next to your hip bone where your pants line is. Its s**y and probably the least painful place. I have 4 tattoos and the one next to my hip bone was my first and it hurt the least. Good luck!! :-)

I have tattoos on my shoulder, the back of my neck, and my foot. And out of those three my shoulder was the least painful. Make sure you pick a design that you are okay with living with for the rest of your life.

I got mine on my lower back, im terrified of needles but it wasnt too bad! So thats my opinion :)

to be honest, they all hurt, its really how much you can handle pain.  i have 5 total got my first at 15 on my right shoulder blade, now [if you weigh more than 100 lbs] this is the best place.. avoid boney places and your butt (the butt stings) ive heard the neck doesnt hurt too bad, best advice make it small- build your way up to a bigger one! hope this helps

Back of your neck isnt bad at all. Tramp stamp [lower back] doesnt hurt too much. Arm Tingles kinda like when your hand falls asleep but a little more pain not much though. Shoulder is really easy! Right above your boob [haha] {not on you bone} Kinda tickles..but hurts after. Anywhere on your stomoch hurts like a bench.

I got one on my left shoulder blade and it wasn't extrememly painful.  It didn't scare me away from getting another one.  You also need to consider future job opportunities that may not allow tattoo visibility.  :)
