  1. Your gerbil would enjoy one of the plastic balls he can run around in while you clean his cage.

  2. Any solid container with ventalation, not something he can chew through preferably plastic (with rounded edges) or metal. A box may work but it must have a lid or high edges as gerbils can jump big! If you use a box make sure it has no areas where the gerbil can chew through, it needs smooth edges.

  3. 1. Tommy tank - Plastic see through tank wid lid

    2. Card board box -  depending on how long your going to be

    Hope this helps

  4. i used to have lots of gerbils many years ago, and when i cleaned them out i used to put them in a large open topped box with some toys in for them to play with, the box has to be fairly high as they can jump, mine loved the new adventure playground.  what ever you do, try to make it fun for him :-)

  5. In the bath. Watch them swim, it's dead funny. They're like little speed boats.

If you put them in a bucket they'll jump straight out unlessyou cover it.

  6. You *don't* want to ask this online. You never know, Richard Gere might be the one to answer and that is one recommendation I would not take...  ;-)

  7. You can buy little home and away cages that are the perfect size to keep them in and they cant escape so they will be perfectly safe to leave them in and clean their cages out and they are only around £7 depending which store you go to, alternatively you could try and find a deep box to put them in.

    Hope this helps :D

  8. In a secure place in which he is happy and has ventilation (not like a ferret and compo plz).

  9. up your *** or cook it

  10. Get a ball that they can run it. Put him in there for a while. Or an empty bath tub! He cannnot climb up the sides, and if he goes potty when hes in there, just spary it down the drain!

  11. You can put your gerbil in some sort of carrier (I use a plastic critter carrier from the pet store for my gerbils), a run-around ball, or a dry bath tub. A cardboard box may work. Just make sure that he can't chew his way out and it's tall enough so that he can't jump out.

  12. I always put my gerbils in an EMPTY bath. They cant get out of it and if they poo or wee you can easily wash it away. Please dont listen to the t**t above who said make them swim, Poor things!!!!!!

Or you could put them in an old icecream container with little holes cut in the lid for air.

  13. You can put him his run- around ball or the same box you brought him home in.

  14. When I'm cleaning out my hamster's cage ( which are kind of the same thing to gerbils) i take the top off his cage then i put him under it he seems fine under itor you could put him in a gerbil/hamster ball i you have one.
