Question:

Where to register for wedding gifts?

What stores make it the easiest for users and us? I heard target was bad about returns (for multiples of an item). We do not need a ton of home items, since we have been living together for 2 years. We are also considering a registry for the honeymoon.

THANKS!

  1. I think you should go with Macy's. It's much safer unless you prefer Bed Bath and Beyond, which I'm not sure about.

  2. Walmart, Macy's, JCPenny's. Kohl's....

  3. Registering for gifts is considered tacky and rude in my family.  People aren't absolutly obligated to give a gift.  The main purpose is to invite them to share in the union between you and your husband, not to fund your honeymoon or household when you've already been living together so long.

  5. Why don't you tell everyone to buy American Express gift cards?  How can you register for a honeymoon?

  6. Target and JC Penny's they are both places that most people can afford and they are easy to register at. you can do it online if you choose.

  7. YEA TARGET ITS HORRIBLE WITH THAT STUFF I WORKED THERE AND THERE POLICY SUCKS! BUT THEY HAVE GOOD STUFF THATS SUCKS WELL IF YOU REGISTER THERE MAKE SURE PEOPLE GIVE YOU GIFT RECEIPTS BECAUSE ITS GREAT THERE. WALMART,MACYS,JC PENNY, KOHLS, BUT GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!

  8. Macy's & Bed Bath & Beyond were the easiest IMO.

  9. Here is where to register your wedding/honeymoon http://www.cassandralanrtravel.org click the "Extras" tab at the top, then scroll down and click "Honeymoon Registry".

    Congrads!!!

  10. My fiance and I opted to use an independent registry, so that people who wanted to give gifts weren't OBLIGATED to get them from a certain store.  Plus, you can register for homemade items, etc.  So far, we've gotten only positive feedback from our guests!

  11. We have registries at Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Sears...

  12. I'd go with Bed Bath and Beyond.  They have everything!  Hence, the "beyond" part.  Everything from kitchen, the latest gadgets, home decor, bathroom, etc.  They have a return counter which I notice is always active so I assume they honor that.  They also have really great online stores which are useful for people in rural areas with no access to a store location.  They have the awesome little gun you can go around with, shooting at useless items you don't really need, will never use, but just want!!!  :)

  13. Williams-Sonoma

free gift wrapping and shipping straight to the couple! plus they have products at every price points. Honestly, I got married so I could register at Williams-Sonoma! LOL!!! Okay, the guy what a big plus too.

  14. JCPenny, Walmart are very easy one to work with, They can be accessed online, set up and changed. Its very nice , these are the two that I am using.
