Where to renew an Argentine passport ?

I'm a resident of the United States and I need to renew my Argentine passport , can I leave the United States and renew it in Argentina?

You might be able to leave the united states, but you'll need to make sure you'll be able to come back in again afterwards (depending on what type of visa you're here on, it could be tricky).

The best bet for you is to contact an Argentine consulate in the United States, who can probably renew your passport easily.  There are Consulate-generals in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, in addition to the Embassy in Washington.

I assume you want to renew it because it expired. Then, for you to travel to Argentina or anywhere outside the U.S. you will need a valid passport. You can renew it at the Argentina consulate. It should take a couple of hours.
