  1. You should be honest on the application.  Most companies do background checks and if you answered no, it will be looked at as you lied on the application.  The question is usually asked as follows on an application;

    Most job applications ask if you have been charged with a felony in the past five years.  They do not specify whether you have been convicted or not.  If the question specifically states have you been convicted of a felony and you have not, than you should mark no.  But be sure how the question is stated before you answer.  It could also say, have you been charged or convicted of a felony within the past five years.  In this case you need to mark yes.  Usually, they have a section under the question for comments, this is where you could indicate that you were not convicted of a felony.
