A have an oak entertainment center that has a 40" opening. I want to get the largest 1080p TV I can 'shoehorn' in there. I have seen a couple of 42"(diag) sets that are slightly less than 40", but I would like to find a site or place where I can search by that criteria and then compare features and prices. Thanks..

  1. If you cram the largest TV you can fit in there do you plan on putting a fan in there to keep it cool?  If not you plan on having this TV repaired a lot.  TV sets need room around the set for air to circulate.  Please take that into consideration and do not waste your money.  Either that or make sure the entertainment center is open on the front and the back and not to close to the wall.  Dimensions of sets are on the best web sites of places that sell them.  No dimensions means you should move on to another site.
