Where to smelt Gold scrap to Bullion or bars?

Iv searched everywhere does anyone know of a place i can send my gold scrap and it can be smelted into bars and sent back to me?

What you want is a refinery.  Probably best to find one near you to minimize shipping charges.

Refineries often process in fairly large batches, it would probably be much easier to sell them your scrap, and buy gold bars with the money.  While I understand the appeal of what you are asking, I suspect the service charges would be substantial.

I'm thinking about opening a small refinery, and it's not something i can do on a shoestring.  The energy costs are horrendous, the hazardous gases and poisonous chemicals require special permits and handling.  Most processes to refine gold are very labor intensive, and the infrastructure required to get it to .999 fine is substantial.  If I do open a goldsmith shop, I will have to send refining work out until I get rich enough to afford the fancy workshop.
