Where to stay in Blackpool?

We stayed in a B&B last year which was miles away from the hustle n bustle, we want somewhere closer this year.

We've just got back from a lavish holiday in Corfu so are on a bit of a budget.

We will be staying 4 nights in september to show our daughter the illuminations as she was a bit to young to know what was going on last year.

Can you recommend a decent hotel or campsite thats not too expensive?
