Where to submit ITR-V form in chennai?

I filed my income tax online...once i filed it .i got an income tax return verification form...they asked me to give it to the nearest income tax office..when i gave it to the income tax office ...they told me that they are not accepting it there.. i dnt know wher to submit the form in chennai..ca someone tell me the place where to submit the form..

Look at http://incometaxindia.gov.in/CCIT/loc_bu... ; on the top right corner select Tamil Nadu from the drop doen. You will get the offfices

You should get it acknowlegded with the ward you mentioned in your ITR though u filed it Online.

If you still have doubts say your ward i'll give you the ITO office where it is located.
