Where to take a good gun class for women in texas?

where can i go to take a gun class in texas.... i live in north texas..... anyone have an idea or suggestion??

If you are near Fort Worth, the Haltom City Rifle and Pistol club.

Our club instructor is a woman named Jan Price. She is a former Police officer turned firearms instuctor. She periodically runs a basic gun safety class with women in mind and is a CHL instructor and runs classes especially for the ladies.

Check with the NRA.  They offer good classes for beginners.  Also, check with gun stores in your area.  Don't buy a gun until you have taken some training.

Watch out - you'll find it's a lot of fun, but an expensive hobby!  :)
